NGLV The new reusable launch vehicle of India

Image
Isro is devoloping a new reusable launch vehicle called (NGLV) for replacing Decades year old. Isro is devoloping a new next generation launch vehicle for replacing older PSLV . It will be a three stage heavy weight launch vehicle Which can launch 10tons of payload to GTO ( geo stationary orbit) and 20tons to LEO ( low earth orbit ) and it will be reusable  ISRO Chairman S. Somanath has said. The PSLV, often dubbed the ‘trusted workhorse’ of ISRO, ‘‘will have to retire’‘ one day, Mr. Somanath said during the three-day Engineers Conclave 2022 which opened at the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), Valiyamala in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday  Mr somanath said NGLV will be propeled by semi-cryogenic propulsion (refined kerosene as fuel with liquid oxygen (LOX) as oxidiser) for the booster stages which is cheaper and efficient, launches More information will be updated .

NASA and ESA,s Mars sample return mission

Image
NASA is planning to bring back the first samples of Mars materials to Earth with the help of ESA (European space agency). This mission consist of three parts . * The lander  * The mars ascent vehicle * The Earth return orbiter So how will this mission works? using the drill on the end of the robotic arm of the perseverance rover, drilling the surface of mars and collecting pieces of mars into the sample tube and then transfer that sample tube into the inside of the rover and then seal them for storage. After a long time in 2026 the mars mission lander( with the mars ascent vehicle) lands near the perseverance rover , the rover moves to the lander and with the help of the robotic arm of the rover the samples will be transferred to the lander . Then the mars ascent vehicle lifts of from the lander( with the samples )and captures into mars orbit then the container ( where the samples is placed) will be ejected from the ascent vehicle and then be captured by the Earth return orbiter an...

Are we going to trap ourself in this big rock , space debris

Image
The great problem of space debris space debris is being a huge problem. it is going to be a great problem is the future of our space travel  what is space debris ? space debris are defunct human made objects which does not serve any useful purpose Space debris is typically a negative externality—it creates an external cost on others from the initial action to launch or use a spacecraft in near-Earth orbit—a cost that is typically not taken into account nor fully accounted for in the cost by the launcher or payload owner.  as of of January 2021, the US space surveillance network tracked 21,901 artificial objects in orbit above the Earth, including 4,450 operational satellites. but this are big enough to track .there are many very minute space debris that we can't even track even a 1cm space debris can be a huge problem to a satellite . As of January 2019, more than 128 million pieces of debris smaller than 1 cm (0.4 in), about 900,000 pieces of debris 1–10 cm, and around 34,000...

NASA's new billion dollar space suite by Axiom space

Image
NASA's new space suite for Artemis lunar mission Axiom space has been selected by Nasa to deliver a moonwalking system for the upcoming Artemis 3 mission. Which is aiming to land the Americans on the surface of the moon after 50 years. The award was given to axiom space under a competitive spacesuits program in order to develop a new next gen Artemis space suite and supporting system and to demonstrate the use on the lunar surface during Artemis 3 As part of the planned human lunar mission,Nasa plans to land the first woman and the first person of colour on the surface of the moon. After checking proposal from two of the eligible space vendors. Nasa selected axiom space for the task order. It has a base value of 228.5 million dollars . In the future a task order will be completed for recurring spacesuite service to support subsequent Artemis mission   Manager of NASA's Extravehicular Activity and human surface mobility program, Lara Kearney said “ Nasa is proud to partner with...
